MOTO GP CARAVAN WRAP

by Nathan Swinson-Bullough

We were contacted by a client who asked if we could do some Moto Gp stickers for their caravan wrap to take to the Silverstone British GP race track. We weren’t aware at the this stage of the extent of the project, but after meeting with the client to discuss the brief, it was apparent that something quite big was required. We don’t just take a brief and produce standard work, we go above and beyond to create something next level, so our response was “sure we can wrap the whole thing if you like!” From then, we went about designing a full vehicle wrap for the caravan.

How the vehicle wrap happened…

So that was it, we designed the graphics and set about measuring the caravan up to fit. ( roof included). With the panels being largely flat we opted for a 5 year air free polymeric vinyl from metamark. This vinyl isn’t cast but we thought it would be thin enough to conform to the slight ridges of the caravan.

We set about printing it on our HP Latex 360. Our print finishing apprentice and another one of our young printers recently were put through 2 vehicle was wrapping courses at the Antalis digital academy. After 4 training days we towed the caravan in to the Imageco car park and said there you go. Good luck!

It took time, a lot of creative energy and attention to detail but the results were amazing, the graphics were actually a present for our clients boyfriend. When he saw the caravan pull up he burst into tears which we were so pleased to be part of and so glad we could help make this project come to life. We took that as a huge compliment and we’re delighted with our clients feed back and the outcome.

We product vehicle graphics and wraps for a huge range of purposes, whether that be for exhibitions, retail and events, we can manage any project large or small.
