Co-op Live

Turning Manchester Blue with 100’s of metres of Hoarding

Setting the Scene

We’re proud to have worked with OVG on their Co-op Live project to develop their hoarding graphics around the city of Manchester. Once a powerhouse of industry, it is now a major cultural hub, famous for its glorious sporting history.

As a wide format print company, we were ready for the challenge of producing and printing 330 meters of bright blue hoarding graphics that can now be seen around the exciting development that is Co-op Live, Manchester. Located just next door to the Etihad Stadium, you can’t miss it!

Driving Forward Sustainability

Co-op Live is the UK’s first purpose-driven arena that will host international music, sport, charity and business events. The new state of the art arena will create 4,000+ new jobs. The hoarding we created is advertising a sustainable and socially responsible venue, which will be creating zero waste, extremely low emissions and generating £1m a year for community causes. So, when we were asked to get involved it was the perfect fit.

One Stop Shop

We expertly handled this project from concept to completion covering all aspects of the project, the initial survey highlighted that this would be a challenging install due to sloping elevations and tricky angles, but our signage and branding manager, Richard Belton used his expertise and knowledge to come up with solutions to ensure that the project was snag free and to the highest of standards.

Why hoardings?

At Imageco we are experts in large format branding, hoardings are part of our staple diet of print and form an integral part of the birth of construction sites. They serve as an important advertising opportunity for brands as seen here in advertising the new impressive Co-op Live arena. We have multiple options for outdoor branding this magnificent example at the Etihad stadium being just one of them. If you’re passing by the stadium, then take a look.

Huge thank you to our client OVG for trusting us to deliver this monster advertisement hoarding.
"
The hoarding was exceptionally challenging, but I am delighted with the outcome. The hard work that went into the project paid off and it looks great and most importantly our client is happy. The hard work is rewarded when we receive positive feedback from our clients which is always nice after putting so much effort and time in. Richard Belton, Branding Manager
