The ESGmark® was founded by Portia Patel and Justin Bates in response to the growing demand for businesses to drive positive change. They recognised that companies of all sizes were eager to contribute to addressing the climate crisis and promoting a fairer society. To guide these efforts, they created a clear framework of actionable steps for organisations committed to making a real impact. Today, the ESGmark® has become a trusted symbol, helping consumers identify businesses that are making a difference and make more informed buying decisions.

To become ESGmark® certified, organisations must undergo a thorough assessment to ensure they qualify for the certification.
One key area is waste and resource management, where organisations are expected to reduce waste, encourage recycling, and shift towards a circular economy approach. At Imageco, we put this into practice by partnering with Reconomy – a leading waste management company that supports businesses in contributing to the circular economy. With their zero-to-landfill policy, we’re able to responsibly recycle all our Dibond, acrylic, card, and PVC roll waste, reducing our environmental impact and keeping valuable materials in use.
Another important step on our journey to becoming ESGmark® certified is supporting sustainable forestry. That’s why we’ve partnered with Evertreen – a global tree-planting organisation working across a range of impactful projects. Through this partnership, we commit to planting 1,000 trees each year, with a target of 250 trees per quarter.
One more criterion we fulfilled was reducing our energy consumption through green technologies, and efficiency upgrades. This was made possible through our implementation of more sustainable print technology. Investing in our swissQprint Nyala 4 flatbed printer, as well as our HP Latex 800W was a step in the sustainable direction.
Our HP Latex printer stands out for its eco-conscious design, featuring components made from recycled plastic and the use of water-based inks. Meanwhile, our swissQprint printer delivers precision with minimal waste, producing very few rejects and requiring only low-level maintenance.
