The priority for the event signage was that they are made from sustainable materials; ones made from recycled materials, designed for reuse, and easily recyclable. Therefore, for the creation of the various event signage, including logo boards, pull-up banners, and wayfinding signage our trusted favourite Xanita board was applied. Xanita is an extremely lightweight fibreboard with a repulpable inner that offers 100% recyclability.

Aside from the event signage that was filtered throughout the conference space, we were tasked with developing event displays that would backdrop to the various stages at the event hosting the crucial panel talks. The large-scale prints spanned the entire width of the stage and were curated from the same Xanita board to continue to prioritise sustainability. These were printed on our swissQprint Nyala 4 flatbed printer, along with the various other event signage, which allowed us to further enhance the sustainability of this project, whilst still delivering incredibly high-quality prints. The Nyala’s LED system is highly efficient, producing no ozone and generating minimal rejects.

Additionally, we produced window graphics that would feature on the external glass walls to act as wayfinding to clearly direct attendees to the venue. The graphics were developed from PVC free easy dot with the event branding printed on the HP Latex 830 W. The HP Latex ensures sustainability through its use of water-based inks and its UL ECOLOGO ® certification.

Not only did we execute all the event signage for the conference, but we also supported four companies elevate their exhibition stands for the event:
• Halston B2B – 3x4 metres
• Pocketworks- 2x2 metres with 3 sides, and 6m of wall graphics
• C3 Group – 3x2 metres (which has since been reused at 2 different events)
• Samara Studio – 3x2 metres

For every exhibition stand we create, we prioritise a dual combination of distinctive branding and sustainability, and these stands were no different. Utilising our in-house cardboard engineering expertise, these stands were developed from a mixture of Katz Board and Xanita Board, which both offer 100% recyclability. For the Halston B2B, Pocketworks, and C3 Group, the exhibition stands we produced acted as show-stopping backdrops to their allocated space with a vibrant usage of colour and imagery. Whereas for Samara Studio, we fabricated a standalone display compiled from various cardboard boxes, produced by our neighbours Greyhound Box, that featured simple branding across the boxes, and a TV embedded into the build.

And as major advocates for sustainability, we couldn’t give attending this event a miss and therefore curated yet another sustainable-first exhibition stand for ourselves to exhibit at the conference. This time, we utilised our award-winning ExhiBox innovation, where we reused an existing base from a previous event and reworked the display to align with our brand ambitions for this stand.

For the lead up to this event, our team was firing on all cylinders, as we had to install every element of the conference’s 50m2 event signage alongside five exhibition stands in preparation for the event launch. Shout out to our project manager, James Milligan, and our Project Coordinator, Isabel Shanahan, who masterfully organised and brought together the event displays and exhibition stands with a seamless execution. This project illustrates how innovative materials, intelligent engineering, and masterful project management can deliver incredible event displays that are crafted sustainably.
