Delivering a record-breaking turnaround in Chamonix

Our director, Nathan received the client’s call at 9pm on Friday evening and the installation needed to be completed by close of play Monday. This sort of turnaround would have been tight even in a UK location, so we had to get our heads down to make this happen. Having to first strip the store front windows of existing vinyl and then offer a solution material that we could use internally in the windows. The client provided the concept artwork and initial brief and we sent the designs straight to the printers. Our Efi Vutek Gs means we can create huge custom prints in record time. For these prints we advised the client on their material choice and went with the black back fabric. This fabric is perfect for creating banners as it prevents light shine through, is lightweight and produces high-quality imagery.

This type of high-level install required 4 team members and we needed them at the store ready to go on Monday. We whisked our install team to Chamonix, catching the first flight out on Sunday and travelling over 1,000 km to reach the final destination. The team were already on route to the store from Geneva by 8am Monday morning. The equipment was pre-delivered to the location, so when the team arrived, they got straight to work. All our install member are fully trained in the safe use of access machines, scaffolding and have relevant safety and training certificates. The on-site team did an incredible job and had both banners installed before the store closed.
