This cutting-edge printer uses energy-efficient LED UV curing lamps, eliminating the need for extra heating or cooling, which significantly reduces energy consumption. It also runs on sustainable UV inks with low chemical emissions, helping us maintain cleaner, greener production standards.
The SwissQprint Nyala 4 gives Imageco the capability to deliver exceptional, high-impact print work by combining white and gloss inks with its precision UV flatbed technology. Printing white allows us to produce striking results on coloured or transparent substrates, creating a solid base layer or eye-catching spot elements, while gloss ink adds depth, texture, and a premium finish through varnish effects, from subtle highlights to full flood gloss.
This versatility means we can offer clients unique, tactile prints for signage, POS, exhibitions, and creative installations, all with the Nyala 4’s renowned Swiss engineering for accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability.

Take our recent retail display for Dr. Martens on Carnaby Street. Created in collaboration with Syn for the hit Netflix series ‘Wednesday’, this limited-edition campaign featured retail display, complete with a bold spiderweb centrepiece, mirroring one featured in Wednesday’s Nevermore bedroom. Using the swissQprint Nyala 4, we built up five ink layers directly onto a lightbox panel to create a dramatic 3D effect, finished with a high-gloss varnish that made it unmissable.
This unique printer also allows us to print directly onto pre-cut panels with absolute precision, which is perfect for large-scale or highly detailed projects. That was essential for our work with Major League Baseball, where we delivered a 300m2 printed floor for The Cage – a centrepiece attraction at MLB’s Trafalgar Square takeover. This live experience was delivered to allow visitors to have a real baseball experience, with food stands, baseball activities and more.
With over 100 unique boards to print, and no room for error, we relied on the swissQprint to deliver vibrant, pin-sharp prints that aligned perfectly with the shape of each cut. The result? A striking branded experience that the client called a game-changer for how they approach event flooring in the future.
