2025 has been a fantastic year for the Imageco team! We’ve made an incredible amount of progress, from awards to sustainability wins, and celebrating the milestones of our team members. Winning Gold at the FESPA Awards

Imageco win the FESPA Gold Award in Berlin

Taking home the Gold at the 2025 FESPA Awards in Berlin was certainly a major highlight! Our captivating retail display for Dr Martens, launching their new Wednesday collaboration, was extremely well received by the judges! The colourful spiderweb window display was produced on 5mm opal acrylic using our swissQprint, where a clever layered print process brings added depth and a premium look to the final finish.

Thank you to syn.. for partnering with us on this excellent project, and well done to the team behind it!

A Future Star in the Spotlight

We’re incredibly proud of Isabel Shanahan, who was nominated for the ‘Future Star’ award at this year’s Digital Printer Awards!

The nomination recognises Isabel’s talent, hard work, and passion, as well as the support of the wider Imageco team, who continue to mentor and inspire her every day.

Seeing Isabel shine was a fantastic moment and a brilliant reflection of the people and culture we’re building at Imageco. A real proud moment of 2025!

Progressing the Print Industry: Joining WYMS

Imageco at West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services

Imageco joined West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services in 2025! Being part of the charity not only provides us with opportunities to support apprenticeships on the design and build side (a key focus for us this year), but also opens doors for networking and learning from others in the print industry.

We really admire what West Yorkshire Manufacturing Services is doing to inspire young people and show them the exciting world of manufacturing and the endless possibilities it holds!

Creating Cardboard Connections

Becca during her work experience at CartonLab

Our connections in the print industry stretched beyond the UK, specifically to Spain! CartonLab, a cardboard design and architecture agency, were kind enough to offer our Studio Manager, Becca Kelly, a chance to visit the factory and learn first-hand about what they do, and how they do it. Becca spent a week with the CartonLab team, understanding their work, their projects, and all the incredible things they do with cardboard.

She even presented a bit about Imageco, the team and the work we produce. Imageco and CartonLab have a shared passion for sustainability and cardboard engineering, so this was an awesome opportunity for Becca to bring back her new learnings!

Thanks once again to all the team at CartonLab for being such excellent hosts to Becca – we’d be happy to return the favour!

Our Favourite Projects of 2025

2025 has been a standout year for Imageco, full of bold builds, creative activations, and sustainable solutions. From immersive exhibition stands to eye-catching retail experiences, we’ve loved bringing ambitious ideas to life. Here’s a roundup of some of our favourite projects from the year:

  • Official Print Sponsors for ReGeneration EarthWe delivered a full suite of sustainable event signage, designed and installed to guide visitors seamlessly while making a strong visual impact. As official print sponsor, we were also trusted by four brands to deliver their exhibition stands.
  • Golden Daffodils for Hospital Art StudioPartnering once again with Hospital Art Studio, we created a meadow of over 100 golden daffodils at Prince Charles Hospital, celebrating hope and organ donation using intricately cut aluminium composite material printed on our swissQprint Nyala 4.
  • Celestial Moths for Dr Martens – For the Celestial Moth collection, we transformed five European stores with PVC-free window graphics, moss-accented plinths, and spherical Xanita board displays, creating an ethereal, gothic in-store experience.
  • A Robot Brought to Life for AntalisWorking with Antalis, we engineered a 3.5 m tall Xanita board robot as the centrepiece of an eco-forward exhibition stand at the VM & Display Show, pushing the boundaries of sustainable cardboard engineering.

  • A Tee-rrific Brand Activation for AdidasIn collaboration with syn., we helped bring the Adidas x JAY3LLE capsule collection to life at the AIG Women’s Open through a bold, multi-layered activation combining wide-format print, 3D builds, cardboard engineering, and floral elements.
  • Miles of Brand Impact: New Balance Brand Activation – Partnering again with syn., we produced and installed Cheer Zones, hydration stops, a Festival Zone, and a Wellness Village along the London Big Half and Big Relay routes, delivering a robust, reusable, and high-impact activation from start to finish
  • SEW Eurodrive Exhibition Stand at PPMA – Returning to work with SEW Eurodrive, we designed and built a show-stopping 12 × 8 m stand featuring CAD-led engineering, custom metalwork, illuminated signage, and foliage, earning praise from both the client and attendees as one of the best stands at the show.
  • Rain Boot Immersive Activation for Dr Martens – Designed by syn. and brought to life by Imageco, this Oxford Circus activation marked the launch of Dr. Martens’ latest rain boot. We engineered a double-sided mirrored unit with no visible fixings, housing an interactive digital floor supplied by motion mapping. Shoppers stepped inside to trigger pools of digital water, sound-activated rainfall, and rain droplet graphics printed on our swissQprint, with integrated screens showcasing the product. A complex, high-impact build, installed in just one night.

Each of these projects highlights what we love most: turning ambitious ideas into practical, sustainable, and visually striking realities. From design and build to final installation, our teams bring creativity, precision, and care to every project we touch.

We want to thank everyone who supported us in 2025, from clients and partners to our friends and family. We’re so excited to be back in 2026, doing what we do best.

That’s a wrap!
