Head-turning, captivating, thought-provoking. Window displays are a versatile marketing tool, designed to engage consumers. For retailers they’re a pivotal way to capture foot traffic.
The art of crafting an engaging, impactful window display that captures the attention of potential customers is difficult, with many displays filled with noise rather than focusing on connecting with potential customers.
The first impression you make is crucial. Your display is your chance to convey your story in the first look. Displays should reflect your brand ethos and communicate your brand identity to your customers.
As experts in print, we’ve produced top-notch window displays. So, if you’re looking for some inspiration for upcoming window display, look no further!
Handmade jewellery retailers partnered with our team to design and curate their new window displayed in their London store. They are passionate about delivering quality, stylish jewellery that draws out confidence for their customers.
Our team created an elegant display with a feminine aesthetic, establishing a connection to their customer base. In their brief, E&E Jewellery asked us to include layers of clouds and abstract figures and so our Studio Manager Becca put her artistry to the test, and designed concepts that aligned and captured the brief. Drawing inspiration from French artist Henri Matisse’s iconic work, his Blue Nude and La Gerbe paper cut-out series, Becca created these divine abstract forms and figures, conveying a luxurious feel.
Our cardboard engineers expertly constructed the structure of this display from layers of SWEDBOARD(r) Fibre, a rigid paperboard. The perfect sustainable solution that’s lightweight and makes for an easy install. The window display included printed acrylic and gold vinyl finishes, to elevate the display and convey quality.
Is it Wednesday? Because this display, is full of PINK!
Dr Martens is a household name, one of the most iconic brands in Britain, known for their quality range of leather boots. We collaborated with Syn. to deliver an impactful window display for their Leeds store, highlighting their iconic ‘1460’ boot. For an established brand like Dr Martens, quality was at the centre of this window display, with the slogan ‘Broken in once, worn for a lifetime’ spotlighting their durable, expertly crafted boots.
Dr Martens opted for a more peeled back approach in this window display, showcasing their products. However, the distinctive yellow stitching that the brand is recognised for makes an appearance on the window, underlining the slogan and title. This display thrives on the legacy of Dr Martens and their reliable reputation as a brand.
Our experts pieced together this effective display. Focussing on the merchandise, we opted for a bold image of the iconic boot hanging from the ceiling and directly drawing attention to the product. The classic boot was displayed on a sustainably crafted pedestal, wrapped by a creative collage of imagery. We used window vinyl to display the impactful slogan, as well as the lifelike yellow stitching.
A fantastic display focussing on reputation, heritage and relying on the weight of the brand.
Boden is a clothing company with family values. With an emphasis on stylish clothing, producing quality garments, and impeccable attention to detail, Boden is a popular retail store catering to all. To create their festive window display, they enlisted the help of our print experts.
In this larger-than-life project, bold colours were used to create a stunning window display! The client wanted a floor to ceiling display, where we created a carefully constructed stack of presents, embodying the gifting nature of the season. The display included the slogan, ‘Let’s BIG IT UP.’ – encouraging customers to be generous, not only with gifts but with sentiments like love and laughter over the festive season.
Boden’s window display is an example of cardboard engineering at work, as the 3D stacks of presents were expertly constructed from Xanita board. The gift boxes were beautifully wrapped in bold, Latex printed paper, with the bows formed from 300 GSM card. In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, our expert team constructed this display entirely from paper that can be recycled at the end of its lifespan.
After delivering excellence for them before, Syn teamed up with our experts once again for a head-turning window display. Our teams delivered a wonderful window for Dr Martens in their Carnaby store which celebrated their exclusive collection with the Netflix show, Wednesday. This collaboration features classic and remixed shoes in Wednesday Addam’s style and is a celebration of the unconventional. Initially, the client provided us with some concepts and trusted our experts to bring their vision to life.
The centrepiece of the window was a multi-coloured spiderweb, based on one from Wednesday’s bedroom at Nevermore Academy. Imageco’s engineers constructed this from an aluminium frame which sat upon a distressed wooden base. As a reference to the series, the window lettering reads, ‘Outcasts are in.’ This lettering was crafted from 10mm acrylic and optically clear vinyl.
Dr Martens truly captivated fans of the show with this spoooky display!
