To help you put a face to the Imageco name, we are continuing our ‘Meet the Team’ series to introduce you to some of our staff members! We have sat down with Dulcie Swinson-Bullough, the gaffers wife and our very own Visual Merchandiser to get to know her a little better.
Since being a child, I have always been a creative type. My mum described me as being like a womble in that I was always collecting things that I would later create something with. Because of this, I have really enjoyed being involved with this work at Imageco alongside my floristry and wedding planning business. I love to travel and collect inspiration from around the world. I believe that the mind is always able to be more creative when you have the time and space to sit and think. I have a lovely home in Spain which means that I am often over there visiting friends. Other than Spain my favourite place to spend time is Italy!
Some of my hobbies would be spending time with family and friends, going out on long walks, cycling, skiing and you’ll find me spending most of my time laughing and focussing on being happy!
I love to be involved in the large-scale pieces of work we do at Imageco, it’s so satisfying to see the work come to life in a window or store. My personal highlights have been working with Adidas on their Harrods window display, I love getting to work with top global brands! Window displays are some of my favourite work. I also deeply love creating floristry for weddings. My latest venture is planning and styling Italian weddings, my favourite of which are always situated in Lake Garda!
I’ve had a lot of work on recently! One of my favourites has been some work that I had displayed in one of the coolest stores in London at Coal Drops Yard. I also loved working alongside Zoflora at Salon International.
The best thing is being involved in the business as a whole. Nathan is so passionate about what he does and being able to work on large scale, creative work so I love that we can work together on this passion.
I would hope that the use of greener, ethically sourced and more sustainable materials and practices will become more prevalent within the next year. It is so important for the industry to begin moving towards a greener future. Nathan is so passionate about this I see it at home as well as at work and he often talks about it. I share his thoughts and together we look on ways we can be creative and sustainable.
I would swap places with someone who doesn’t have a single care in the world. Being stress free for a day would be a dream.
Either a window dresser or a fashion designer. So, I’ve done okay there!
A Chiaretto dry Italian rosé wine.
I would travel to America to see some of my very close friends who moved over there. I have missed them so much since they moved so it would be lovely to see them.
Treat people as you would like to be treated and always smile as it is contagious.
