In our latest Meet the Team blog post, we would like to introduce our Project Manager, Tommy!
I am a nature-loving music nerd with a penchant for sneakers. I’m allergic to most things but I am animal lover none the less. A huge fan of culinary delights. In my opinion, Sundays are best spent cooking up some goodness, sipping on a glass of red after a walk in the great outdoors with my wife.
I come from a design background that developed into managing campaigns, which naturally led to project management. I love problem-solving and being able to offer solutions, I don’t enjoy the headache prior to the solving!
I’ve always been a fan of “the arts”; meaning, I love anything that is open for interpretation and sparks conversation. I am good at making inappropriate jokes and not good at understanding politicians. Or flat earthers.
I’m working on an experiential project for a large retailer. Without saying too much, we’re certainly bringing the outside; in.
Inspiration & colour. I love bringing clients to our office and taking them on a tour, as it always prompts collaboration. I work alongside a team of experts too; we often get thrown challenges and between the skills we have internally; always find a solution.
It’s already happening and gaining momentum, but, the use of single-use plastics. Especially those for events & exhibitions. Hosts & exhibitors send so much to landfills and with a little more education, we should be swapping these environmentally harmful materials out for our ecological & sustainable products.
A rollercoaster ride.
Everyone has bad days. I don’t like Tuesdays. Banksy would be pretty cool – a licence to write your message wherever you like.
Takashi Murakami, Kaws or Nigo – being either of those would guarantee me some lovely visuals for the day.
My earliest memory of my desired career path was to be a vet. My next-door neighbour was a vet at that time, and I can remember her bringing home an injured bat. She knew how much I loved them, so she invited me over to help look after the little guy. Good times!
Guinness if there’s no guest stout or porter. I like to support local breweries and try different ales. Northern Monk has produced some great bits, they collaborate with artists on their packaging too; more recently with Leeds’ own INSA! Sold!
Having just returned from Barcelona, and visiting Italy in a couple of days, I’m tempted by somewhere cold. Stick me somewhere high up with a lovely view of the Norwegian Fjords. That would make me a happy guy.
Treat people how you wish to be treated yourself.
