Our Sustainability Accreditations and Certifications
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system.
Designed for any type of organisation, regardless of its activity or sector, it helps to demonstrate our constant dedication to monitoring and reducing our environmental impact. This certification covers standards such as audits, communications, labelling, and life cycle analysis. We received our certification in 2022, but there were several years leading up to this, heavily investing in the refinement of our processes and actions to become more sustainable.
We operate using a recycling policy for acrylic, dibond and all paper and card products. Everything is taken independently of regular waste, which is handled by our waste management facility, Reconomy, who have a strict no-landfill policy.
We’ve recently been certified by FESPA UK for the FESPA UK Waste Accreditation standards.
FESPA UK is a globally-recognised non-for-profit association for the print sector, and the goal of this accreditation is to provide an impartial waste scheme, that will help to dispose of graphics waste in the most responsible way. It enables Imageco to effectively manage our waste, increase our recycling rates, eliminate landfill, and realise significant cost savings. Their structured framework allows us to review and optimise their waste systems and gain personalised recommendations for improvement. To achieve this gold standard in waste management, FESPA undertook a thorough investigation of our entire waste stream, investigating each waste plant where our waste is taken and the associated treatment process.

Our first certified year was 2023 and we are proud to be once again accredited with this certification for the year 2024.
We are proud to be a part of the ESGmark® community. The ESGmark® is a symbol of trust and distinction. It is awarded to organisations that act positively with regards to the planet, to their stakeholders, and society. Through a rigorous evaluation, Imageco was assessed against the ESG criteria set to qualify us for this prestigious certification. They consistently monitor our environmental credentials, undertake carbon reporting audits, and check all of our social and governance policies are in order.
We’re excited to share that in 2026, we’ve partnered with GreenTheUK to support local tree-planting and rewilding efforts. This year, our focus is on giving back to the places we live and work by helping restore woodlands and landscapes closer to home. We believe it’s the small steps that matter most; that’s why we’re pledging to plant 1,000 trees locally this year.
Our partnership will allow us to support our reforestation and biodiversity initiatives, nurturing a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
